Mardi Gras House is a great tradition of partying, drinking, and doing things your mother can not even think of. Mardi Gras House 2007 is happening February 15^th through February 20^th. Once again it will offer 5 consecutive days of bathing in beer, making a complete ass of yourself because no one will know. Mardi Gras House presents entertainment featuring Lulu Lips, Drunk West Bank Girls, and the ever popular "Drew".

How about an elegant dinner inspired by the great restaurants of New Orleans? After Gin Fizz or Sazerac cocktails, start the meal with a Shrimp Remoulade or Crab meat crepe appetizer. For the main course you might choose Crawfish Etouffee - crawfish tails smothered in a rich, thick sauce served over rice, or Pompano en Papillote - pompano fillets with shrimp and crab baked in parchment paper. King cake is the traditional Mardi Gras dessert. The cake is decorated with sugar tinted in the classic carnival colors: green, purple and yellow. The lucky person who finds the pecan or bean in his slice of cake is king or queen for a day. Masks, streamers, confetti, balloons - all the trimmings for a festive Mardi Gras celebration.
